Saving & review marks

Display preferences stay on this browser when storage is available. Focus and the band last on this page. Inquiry and worksheet entries are not saved.

Review marks indicate review, not mastery or completion of a legal step.

Accessibility

Read in a way that works for you.

You can use the content immediately. Reading settings offer optional adjustments, without asking for a diagnosis.

Ways to use the site

  • Use the skip link or page headings to move through content.
  • Use Reading settings for text size, appearance, width, font, and spacing. Reset at any time.
  • Use Listen to This Page for optional browser read-aloud: Play, Pause or Resume, Stop, and speed controls. Open content sections before playing. Availability and language support depend on installed voices.
  • Focus mode reduces surrounding navigation without hiding article sections or sources. Exit focus mode is near the top of the page.
  • The reading band is an outline, not a dimming overlay. Move it with buttons or Alt + Up/Down; Escape turns it off.
  • Use your browser’s zoom, Find, reading tools, selection, and copy. Article text remains available.
  • Print guides or download a worksheet as editable plain text. Check a printed or PDF copy separately before relying on its accessibility.

Design and verification

The target is applicable WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA criteria across complete pages and processes. CAST Universal Design for Learning (UDL) informs choices for engagement, representation, and action and expression. W3C cognitive accessibility guidance adds usability practices. These frameworks have different roles.

This is not a claim of certification or universal usability. Automated and manual checks have limits. A display option is a preference, not treatment or a guarantee of improved learning.
